Welcome to the latest LearnEnglish Kids newsletter.

LEARNING TIME WITH TIMMY APP NOW ON PHONES!
Baa-rilliant news - our kids app Learning Time with Timmy is now available on phones!

Play exciting games and listen to the narrator to learn numbers, colours, shapes and food in English with Timmy and his friends. As your child plays more games, they can collect stickers to decorate the sticker book and fun short videos of Timmy and his friends.

Download it now for your smartphone or tablet on the Apple, Google Play and Amazon App Store!

NEW GRAMMAR CONTENT

We have added lots of new, free, printable grammar reference cards, tests and worksheets, which can be used at home or in class.

The reference cards explain the grammar with simple, clear rules, and children can write their own examples and text. When they feel confident, they can try the short test. They can also play our fun grammar games and then print the worksheets for extra practice.

And don't forget the videos and quizzes in our grammar section to help your child have fun with English grammar!

HAPPY EASTER!

Easter is on April 5th this year, and in our The great egg hunt story, space spies Sam and Pam search for a golden egg.

To practise Easter words, children can play our Easter find the pairs game or Easter wordsearch game. They can also write about celebrating Easter on our Easter your turn, which comes with two printable worksheets. There is a colouring worksheet for younger kids, and a vocabulary worksheet for older kids. Happy Easter!

ST GEORGE'S DAY

April 23rd is St George's Day, and children will enjoy watching our George and the dragon story to find out why he is the patron saint of England. They can play the games and print the free worksheet to help them understand the video.

Kids who are members can tell us about the patron saint of their country by writing a comment under the story, or they can write about another favourite day on our Favourite day your turn. If they like dragons, we have more stories and activities about dragons to try too!

WORLD HEALTH DAY
World Health Day on April 7th marks the founding of the World Health Organisation in 1948, and World Malaria Day takes place on April 25th.

Our I'm too ill story and game help children practise talking about different illnesses, and in The story of quinine, they will learn about a medicine that helps fight malaria. Both stories come with printable worksheets. Kids can also practise spelling health words with our hangman game
