Welcome to the latest edition of the TeachingEnglish newsletter!
This week we have a great new lesson plan to celebrate World Book Day, in which students will find out about its origins, and write about their own favourite book. On EnglishAgenda we have a new season of Continuing Professional Development webinars on a range of topics this month, which you can watch and take part in online. Rachels Boyce's latest blog post looks at cultural issues in the classroom (particularly with regard to speaking), and our featured article looks at ways to integrate literature into the language classroom with teenagers. Finally, our featured publication is also on the theme of reading and writing - it is a resource pack aimed at teachers who are starting to teach creative writing in their English language classes. We hope you find these useful.

Finally they will read their texts in class or record themselves reading the texts. There is an optional activity of making a display with the final texts Read more |
