Hello from the TeachingEnglish team. This week's newsletter has plenty of contributions from you, the reader. We have the second in a series of blog postings from Georgina Hudson looking at how you can set positive limits in the classroom and  there's the chance to help a new teacher who's having difficulty with advanced learners.

As always there are contributions from the TeachingEnglish team, including a new BritLit kit for you to try, an article looking at grammar and lexis and an interview with Keith Kelly. The interview with Keith is part of a new collection of materials focusing on CLIL which you can find here. There's also Fitch O'Connell's final posting from the Hay Segovia festival.

Grammar vs lexis or grammar through lexis?

Hay Segovia

I'm back home after a very stimulating few days in Segovia. I suspect that what we have learned will be very useful in the Hay Festivals worldwide throughout 2011. The feedback we got from teachers and students has been very positive and it would be a shame if the experience was limited only to those teachers and students who managed to get to Segovia over a three days period in September.

Teaching advanced students
