Diwali, or Deepavali, is also called the Festival of lights. It is one of the most famous festivals from South Asia, and it is celebrated on October 17th this year. Children can listen to a boy talking about Diwali - his favourite day - and can also make their own firework display. What is your child's favourite day?

Halloween activities
October 31st is another festival - Halloween! Many people celebrate this day of ghosts, witches and all things spooky. You can find lots of activities for Halloween, and also activities about witches and wizards including a fun song about a magic spell.
