TeachingEnglish Teachers Welcome to this week's edition of the TeachingEnglish newsletter! This week we are happy to announce that episode 3, 'Language recycling', of our new ten-part podcast 'The Climate Connection' is available to listen to. For the classroom, we have a lesson plan for primary learners on the importance of animals, a lesson for secondary students on links between sport and the climate crisis, and a new lesson for adults and teenagers focused on jobs in the 21st century. We also invite you to join two upcoming events. The first is a round table discussion looking at new ways of teaching and the skills teachers need to support student learning remotely or in a combination of face-to-face and online. The second is a refugee week workshop, which focuses on educating refugees online during Covid-19. We hope you find these resources useful. The TeachingEnglish team | |
