A new book all about teacher research has just been published by the IATEFL Research SIG. The book contains chapters written by teacher-researchers working at universities across Turkey and aims to share research relating to classroom practice with the wider ELT community.

Take a British Council training course this summer!

The TKT Essentials course is for inexperienced teachers or teachers in pre-service training, experienced teachers who want to refresh their knowledge, experienced teachers who want to gain knowledge of CLT (Communicative Language Teaching) and teachers preparing to take the TKT test. The next course starts 06 July and registration is now open.


If you want an introduction to teaching English to young learners aged 7 to 11, then Primary Essentials is for you. Using video, audio and community elements, you will learn the essentials to help you succeed in your teaching. The course starts 13 July and registration is now open.
