| Hello again! This week TeachingEnglish has been busy getting together some great materials for you to use in your classroom. We've got the latest in our series of lesson plans that look at Olympic events and this time it's focussed on cycling. There's also a whole lesson based on 'big' numbers. We've all had students who have problems with large numbers so this one might be useful to you. There's also news of our latest 'blog of the month award', which this month was won by Chia Suan Chong who put in a great effort to keep up with all that was going on at IATEFL. Last but not least, if you haven't visited our 'Great' section, you might be interested in a series of lessons that focus on the best aspects of Britain. If you think your students might like to learn more about the UK then this section could be for you. Best wishes,

In this lesson students revise big numbers in a fun way. First they play a guessing game, then they play Bingo! They finish with a pair work jigsaw reading activity. Read more |
