Welcome to the first TeachingEnglish newsletter of 2010. This month we offer our thanks to our Guest Writer Alan Maley, and our Guest Teacher Nigussie Negash who have now finished their excellent work on the site. Upcoming activity on the site will include a special month for teachers of young learners. We'll have more information about that next week.
This week we have our usual mix of teaching tips, activities and opportunities to voice your own ideas. You can find our latest video tip on classroom management, a new activity to try in class with your pre-intermediate students and the chance to take part in our latest poll: should the mother tongue be used in the classroom?
