In this newsletter you can find out about making new years resolutions, and also find information about videos on NEW LearnEnglish Kids. Please note that the new site is still a beta version. We are still making improvements and adding new features. We'd love to know what you think about the new site. Email us at: learnenglish.kids@britishcouncil.org new years resolutions At the beginning of a new year some people make 'resolutions', they decide to make good changes in their lives. We've asked children to send us their new year resolutions. Your child can read some of them - if they register with LearnEnglish Kids they can send us their resolutions too. videos - kids talk Kids Talk is a section on new LearnEnglish Kids with videos of children talking. You will find a documentary made by children in Singapore, and a series of videos related to the topic of food. You can download worksheets for each video. Or your children can register and tell us their thoughts about food. teachers notes - using videos Teachers can find notes about using videos on Teaching English, the British Council/BBC website for teachers. You will find more tips for using LearnEnglish Kids on the teaching kids page. If you are a teacher let us know what you think about the tips. new learnenglish kids Don't forget that you can find out about new LearnEnglish Kids in the explore section. Visit the teachers page and you will find out where everything is on the new site. You can also use the search facility to find any resources that you want. chinese new year Finally, February will see Chinese New Year - the year of the Tiger. You will find resources for Chinese New Year on the new site. Also look out for more features coming soon such as book club.
