And some teachers create materials to supplement their teaching salary, or even move into a career writing materials. Join Katherine Bilsborough for two special live community events for teachers: 'How to create the perfect materials for your learners' needs', Monday 4 April at 12 p.m. UK time and 'Moving from teaching to writing materials', Wednesday 6 April at 12 p.m. UK time. |

| Episode 9: How can I support my own and my students' wellbeing? As schools (in some parts of the world) return to something approaching normality after Covid-19, it's important to consider the mental health impact the pandemic has had. In this episode, we'll look at British Council materials that help teachers promote wellbeing activities for both themselves and their students. In the second half of the episode, Sarah Mercer discusses how teachers can make their classrooms places where mental wellbeing is maintained, and even improved. |

"Finished, teacher!" What to do with fast finishers in the Young Learner classroom We all know how challenging it can be when one or two learners have raced through your carefully planned activity at top speed and yell out that they've finished, while the rest of the class are still only on question 4! In this webinar on Thursday 7 April, we'll consider and discuss how to take a principled approach that manages this common classroom situation for the benefit of all learners. Teachers will leave the session with a range of ideas they can implement with their own classes. |

| Climate action: Ukraine school project This free resource for secondary learners is based on a film submitted in 2021 to the British Council's Climate Connections project. The children, based in a school in the western part of Ukraine, share how their projects and activities are responding to environmental and climate issues and can be used to inspire other learners to come up with their own solutions to help tackle climate change. |
