LearnEnglish Kids newsletter May 2019 Hello again! We've chosen some activities to keep your learners busy this May. You'll find videos, songs, stories, vocabulary games, flashcards and more on the topics of Ramadan, birds and families. Have fun!  The LearnEnglish Kids team RAMADAN Do your learners know about Ramadan? It's one of the most important times of year for Muslim families and it starts on 5 May this year.   Watch our brand-new video, Ramadan begins, to find out all about it. And check out the other  activities in our Ramadan topic!   BIRDS Did you know that 11 May is a special day for birds? It's World Migratory Bird Day! Why not learn the names of some birds with our vocabulary game and flashcards? Bird lovers can also listen to some traditional stories, The bird king and The ugly duckling. Or watch a video to see some really cute ducklings as they learn to fly!  INTERNATIONAL DAY OF FAMILIES The International Day of Families is celebrated on 15 May every year and you'll find lots and lots of great resources in our family topic.
