LearnEnglish Kids newsletter June 2018 Welcome to the latest LearnEnglish Kids newsletter. EID AL-FITR Are you celebrating Eid al-Fitr this month? Kids can learn about this important Muslim festival in our Eid al-Fitr story where a girl from Egypt talks about how she celebrates.  Find lots of activities about special days in our Festivals and celebrations topic!   WORLD CUP Do your children like football? The World Cup starts this month, and kids will enjoy practising their reading with our Football World Cup fact file and have fun playing games or listening to songs and stories in our Football topic.  Children who are members can even tell us their predictions for the World Cup on our Football Your turn!  WORLD REFUGEE DAY Did you know that 20 June is World Refugee Day? Children can watch Two boys from Syria and Germany, a video about two friends from different countries.  There are games and a worksheet for the video and a place for kids to write a comment telling us what they think. VIDEO ZONE Have you seen our Video zone section recently? We add new videos each month on fun, interesting topics. Each video comes with activities to help kids understand and practise their English.  Try our latest videos, How to make slime safely -- a doctor's advice, Leaping ducklings or 3D printed human skull!   Are you aged 13-17?
