LearnEnglish Kids newsletter May 2018 Welcome to the latest LearnEnglish Kids newsletter. RAMADAN What do your children know about Ramadan? Ramadan starts in the middle of May and is an important time of year in the Islamic calendar.   Children can watch a story or listen to a song to find out more, and print the worksheets to help them understand. If they are members of LearnEnglish Kids they can also write a comment about it on the site!   FAMILIES Can your children talk about their family in English? It's the International Day of Families on 15 May. We have lots of fun activities about families to help children practise their English in our Family topic, including games, songs and stories!  HELPING YOUR CHILD Do you want to know how to start teaching your children English at home or keep them motivated? Our Helping your child articles give parents and carers expert advice about these topics and more! The LearnEnglish Parents Facebook page is also a great place to find ideas, tips and discussions about supporting children of all ages.  You can ask questions on the Facebook page or by writing a comment in the Parents section of our site.
