LearnEnglish Kids newsletter April 2018 Welcome to the latest LearnEnglish Kids newsletter. ST GEORGE AND WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE What do St George and William Shakespeare have in common? They are both celebrated on 23 April!  Children can learn about the story of George and the dragon or find out about the life of William Shakespeare. They can also watch some stories of Shakespeare's plays!   WORLD BOOK DAY AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE DAY Do your children like reading in English? It's also World Book Day and English Language Day on 23 April! Kids can find lots of activities in our Reading topic or tell us about speaking English and other languages in our Languages Your turn. SPACE! Are your children interested in space? The International Day of Human Space Flight, the anniversary of the first human to travel in space, is on 12 April.    We have lots of fun songs, stories, videos and other activities to help kids practise English in our Space topic!  SPORT AND HEALTH! Do your children enjoy doing sport and being healthy? It's the International Day of Sport and World Health Day on 6 and 7 April, so why not try some activities in English on these topics? Go to our Sport topic and Health and illness topic to find them all!   Are you aged 13-17? Are you learning English? Go to our LearnEnglish Teens website to find lots of free resources to help you pass exams and have fun while you learn English online.       Are you learning English?
