Back writing is a good activity for restless younger classes and is suitable for language assistants to use as well as teachers. Students work in teams to spell out words by writing letters on each others' backs or whispering them to each other.

Teaching teens

This article takes a look at blogging, which is becoming increasingly popular as a language learning tool. It gives an overview of blogging websites, suggests why you might want to use them, and gives some practical advice on setting up blogs for use with your own classes.

Teaching adults

Big numbers is a lesson plan for teachers of older teenage and adult students at low intermediate B1 level is about big numbers. Students will participate in a pair work jigsaw reading activity. Lots of our students have problems with big numbers and this lesson they revise big numbers in a fun and interactive way.
