LearnEnglish Kids Newsletter June 2015 Welcome to the latest LearnEnglish Kids newsletter. RAMADAN Ramadan starts on June 18th and is an important time of year in the Islamic calendar. Children can read a story and sing a song about Ramadan, to find out about some of the things people do at this time. All of our songs and stories come with a free printable worksheet to complete. Kids can also play a game to learn words connected with Ramadan.    WORLD OCEANS DAY June 8th is World Oceans Day. Students will enjoy our story about a fish called Angel and the Great Barrier Reef, and our fun song about underwater animals. Children will also love our sea animal games and activities. Younger kids will particularly like our Paint it game and older kids can try a Find the definition game.  FAMILY TIME International Children's Day is on June 1st and Father's Day is on June 21st. For Father's Day, children can watch our My dad story and try the free printable worksheet. To practise family words, kids can play our Paint the words game or one of our other Family activities. Children can also write a comment about their dad or another special member of their family on our Family your turn. LEARNENGLISH KIDS IN DIFFERENT LANGUAGES! Did you know that LearnEnglish Kids is available in lots of different languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Japanese and Russian? Click on the drop-down menu at the top of the screen to select a different language.
