NEW TE radio!

Check out our four new programmes for teachers:
Getting the most from the coursebook -There may only be a few copies of the school's coursebook available, but it can be a really useful resource.
Adapting the coursebook - Understanding how our course book works can help to bring variety into the classroom.
Managing different levels - Multi-grade and mixed-level classes are a reality for most teachers, so we have to work with them.
A visit to a reading class - A programme dedicated to one lesson to give you ideas for your own classes.

    teachingenglishthink

Pronunciation and speaking are physical activities. Proprioception is the internal awareness of the position of parts of the body and the effort employed in a movement. Adrian Underhill looks at how to use proprioception as a guiding principle in language learning, how to enable learners to connect with the muscles that make new sounds, and how to use 'easy' sounds to find 'difficult' ones.
