Welcome to the first 2015 edition of the TeachingEnglish newsletter!

In this edition, we have an article by CLIL expert Keith Kelly looking at collaboration between English language teachers and subject teachers.

We have a video of Winnie Pang, a teacher in Hong Kong, talking about the challenges of a first class with very young learners.

There is a story about the work that the British Council is doing in Uruguay with remote teaching and we also have information about our upcoming online courses.

We have a blog post from David Dodgson with suggestions for classroom activities and a lesson plan looking at future intentions using 'going to'.

Happy New Year

Currently in its pilot phase in the UK, the British arm of the project is seeing 47 classes being taught each week from Wandstead House, a community house based in the London borough of Redbridge.
