The Assessment in ELT: Opportunities and Challenges conference, organised by the Teacher Education and Applied Language Studies centre at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, will take place on 21 and 22 November, 2014 in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. Speakers include David Little, Neus Figueras Casanovas and Joan Turner.

TIRF - The International Research Foundation for English Language Education - is pleased to announce its 2014 Doctoral Dissertation Grants competition in partnership with the British Council. Grants of up to US $5,000 will be made to successful applicants. The application deadline is May 16, 2014.
