Our next webinar will be on 12 June and features Jo Budden, the editor of the British Council's LearnEnglish Teens website. In this webinar, Jo will look at how a growing online community of teenagers are using the site to practise their English by writing comments and interacting with users from around the world.

Monthly lesson plan for May
  TeachingEnglishTry
Our latest monthly lesson plan is written by Katy Simpson-Davies, based in Dubai. Using a number of resources from the LearnEnglish Kids website, primary students play a game using vocabulary about space, sing a song about travelling to the sun, listen and read a story about a fictional planet, and design their own story with support from a structured template, and then write about it.

Interviews from the Teacher Educator Conference 2014

At the end of February this year, British Council India held it's annual Teacher Educator Conference in Hyderabad. As part of the coverage, we went along to the conference and interviewed a number of the main speakers and organisers, including Simon Borg, Richard Smith and George Pickering. You can watch all of the interviews with these speakers talking about professional development and the fascinating projects they are working on.
