Lots of people make New Year's resolutions in January, for example, 'This year I'm going to speak more English.' Children can tell us about their New Year's resolutions in our Your turn. Kids can practise using 'will' to talk about predictions for the future with our grammar game and grammar video. Children can take our grammar quiz about 'will' and then post their own sentences on the website using will and won't for future predictions.
We hope that 2014 will be a great year for all our users!

Chinese New Year is on January 31st, and this year is the year of the horse! Children can listen to this story about celebrating it (and find their animal at the end!), or learn about the animals in the Chinese calendar in this story. We also have a great new quiz about horses specially for the year of the horse! Finally, kids will love our Happy new year song, and this matching game with a fun Chinese New Year worksheet. They can also try making a Chinese lantern.
All of our Chinese New Year activities can be found here. Xin nian kuai le, everybody! |
