Welcome to the latest edition of the TeachingEnglish newsletter!

For the classroom this week we have a new series of lesson plans to mark the run-up to the Commonwealth Games, and another fascinating plan about writing in the Middle Ages.

We also have interesting articles and a talk on the themes of visual literacy in ELT and the needs of visually impaired learners, and a webinar on how games can be used to engage, motivate and educate language learners.

And finally, we have a call for papers on the issues of MOOCs.

Enjoy!
