Welcome to the latest edition of the TeachingEnglish newsletter!

This week we have our featured blog of the month: Lizzie Pinard's 'Reflections of an English language teacher' and her fantastic post '30 things to enhance your teaching'.

For the classroom there's our 'Escape 3' lesson plan which is available for two distinct levels and designed around an interesting and unusual photograph. We also have our monthly lesson plan, which is aimed at primary students and is based on free time activities. For teachers who are coming to the end of a course the 'Goodbye game' is a great activity for your last lessons.

Finally, you can read about the British Council TEFL open evening. This event is free of charge and held on August 1st in London. Also in the UK there is a call for proposals to become a speaker at the British Council Seminar Series 2013 - 14.

Enjoy!
