| In our first lesson children practise Christmas words with flashcard activities and games. They listen to and sing a Christmas song, then they make a Christmas card. | These lessons are designed to introduce students to the characters and plot of Jane Austen's novels. The first lesson provides basic information on the characters in Persuasion and also provides students with opportunities to develop creative writing skills. The second is designed to introduce students to the characters and plot of Northanger Abbey as well as to introduce students to Austen's ironic treatment of character and themes. Read more |
