Welcome to a new TeachingEnglish newsletter. This week's edition is packed with new things for you to try in your classrooms. There's a new video tip that explains and demonstrates how to use warmers in young learner classes, there's a brand new lesson plan that doesn't require any pre-prepared materials and there is an activity to practise past participle forms.

There's a whole new teacher development course on the site in the form of CLIL Essentials, the course can be done online or face-to-face and you can find more information on the TeachingEnglish website. There's also a video interview with our Guest Teacher Jamie Keddie which gives some interesting insights into his views on teaching and finally there's an opportunity for you to help one of our readers by providing ideas to practise the use of the present perfect continuous.

Best wishes,

Duncan

This version practises the present continuous form but other versions can practise other tenses.

But... as soon as I introduce the present perfect continuous (and despite my explanations), they look confused and can't use it! Many thanks! Sophie
