Making words count: Top tips for teaching vocabulary

This webinar with George Wilson on 12 May, is aimed at teachers of English in schools and universities and those using English as a means of instruction (CLIL/EMI). Participants will be introduced to a range of practical strategies for teaching vocabulary. They will have a chance to practise and reflect on these techniques and to think about how best to apply them to their teaching context.

World Bee Day

This primary lesson plan at A2 level and above, helps raise awareness of the importance of bees as pollinators. It is based on the United Nations' World Bee Day, which takes place on 20 May every year. The first part of the lesson is based on an inforamtive video. The second part focuses on the logo for World Bee Day. Learners think of new slogans and design a new logo to promote this special day.

In this webinar the lead researcher, Professor Nidhi Singal from the University of Cambridge, along with a panel of global educators will present their insights into disability in education and in the teaching profession.
