Hi and welcome to our June newsletter. Many children are still learning at home this month, and you'll find ideas to help you support them in our Parents section, on our Facebook page and with an online course. We've also selected some topical resources for you and your learners to enjoy. Best wishes,
The LearnEnglish Kids team

 | | | With World Environment Day on 5 June and World Oceans Day on the 8th, this is definitely a month to think about environmental issues.
Kids can listen and sing along to Do your best, a brand-new song about saving the planet, and watch a video about a 12-year-old Plastic ocean campaigner. You'll find these and lots of other resources, including stories, games and printables, in our Environment topic.
|
| | | | UN World Refugee Day, on 20 June, is dedicated to raising awareness of the situation of refugees throughout the world.
Your learners can find out about the challenges faced by a Syrian refugee family who settled in Australia in our Video zone. They can also watch a video about Two boys from Syria and Germany. Each video comes with online and downloadable exercises, to help kids understand.
