Hi and thanks for subscribing to our newsletter. With lots of children still learning at home this month, we've selected some activities to help your kids practise their English. We hope that they enjoy them. Take care,

 | | | To help parents with children learning at home, we've created a printable activity diary for kids to record what they do on LearnEnglish Kids.
It can be motivating for children to keep a record of what they do and learn, and you can review it together at the end of the day. You'll find the printable worksheet and lots of ideas for supporting your child's English learning at home on our Covid-19 support for parents page.

 | | | Songs are a fantastic way to learn vocabulary and improve pronunciation. We've recently added five new animated songs for children to sing along to, featuring brother and sister Ali and Nanu, and a very special robot!
Each song focuses on a different topic, like introducing yourself, feelings or food, and comes with interactive games and a downloadable worksheet. You'll find them all in our Robot songs topic. We hope you and your learners enjoy them!

| | | | At this time we're especially grateful to those working in essential services. International Workers' Day is celebrated around the world on 1 May. Kids can practise vocabulary, grammar, spelling, listening comprehension and more with the activities in our Jobs topic.
Many people are spending a lot of time with their families at the moment. Celebrate the International Day of Families on 15 May with all of the resources in our Family topic!
| |
 | | | Eid al-Fitr is a very important Islamic celebration at the end of Ramadan, and it starts on 23 May this year.
