|  | | | Ramadan begins on 23 April this year and it's a very special time for Muslims all over the world.
Older children can watch a video called Ramadan begins and then play games online or do a printable activity sheet to check their understanding. You'll find more resources, including some for younger children, in our Ramadan topic.

 | | | Shakespeare Day and World Book Day are on 23 April. Shakespeare is one of the most famous writers ever ... but do your learners know any of his stories? We have videos of six of his best-loved plays, along with a biography, in our Shakespeare topic. The videos were created especially for young learners of English.
What sort of books do your children like? In this video they can find out how to make a bookmark to go with their favourite books. Happy World Book Day!
