The LearnEnglish Kids team

Young learners love making things and learning how to do new things. It's a great opportunity to practise English too!

We've got a brand new series of How to ... videos. Kids can find out How to do a magic trick, How to grow a bean plant, How to make a bowling game and How to make a bookmark. Each video comes with online exercises and downloadable activities.

We all know that it's important to eat fruit and vegetables to stay healthy! Celebrate World Food Day on 16 October with the great resources in our Fruit and vegetables topic!

What do you do with your leftover Halloween pumpkins? If you don't want to waste them, check out a brand-new video in our Video zone for ideas for some yummy pumpkin snacks!

This month, we're celebrating Diwali and Halloween!

Diwali, the Hindu 'festival of lights', begins on 27 October this year. Find out how Diwali is celebrated in the UK in our Video zone, and watch a short story about this festival.

And for some Halloween fun, have a look at the activities in our Halloween topic ... songs, stories, word games, crafts and much more! Happy Halloween!

Are you a teacher? Would you like to find out our top tips for making the most out of our materials with your learners? Join us at 12.15 UK time on Saturday 5 October for a webinar as part of our World Teachers' Day web conference in collaboration with IATEFL. Whether you teach children, teenagers or adults, you'll find something new to take into your classroom on Monday morning!
