It's March! This month we're celebrating three special days with lots of great resources for your young learners. You can also read about our free online course for parents and teachers.

 | | | World Poetry Day is on 21 March. What better way to celebrate than with our brand new Poems section!
Written specially for children learning English, there are 20 inspiring poems on many different themes, such as school, seasons, friends and dreams. Which is your favourite?

 | | | World Wildlife Day on 3 March reminds us about how important animals are.
We have lots and lots of activities for kids to learn about many different wonderful animals. Word games, songs, stories, flashcards ... you'll find them all in our Animals topic.

|  | | | Are you interested in finding out how very young children best learn English?
The British Council runs a free online course for parents, teachers and other professionals. The six-week course started on 18 February, but it's not too late to join and catch up! The course takes approximately two hours a week.
