Try our ideas for school-related activities, including a new video in our Video zone, to help get your children ready and start off the new school year. We hope you like them.  The LearnEnglish Kids team   BACK TO SCHOOL Time for a new school year? Have a look at our school activities. There are videos, word games, colouring pictures, flashcards and more, or get your kids to tell us what they think about their school. Make going (back) to school lots of fun!   VIDEO ZONE Is Topsy and Tim's class like your children's class? Watch the latest video in our Video zone section, where each video comes with activities to help kids with their English.  All the videos in this section are on lots of different topics so there's something for everyone. We're adding videos all the time, so don't forget to visit the section again for something new. INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY Want your children to discover more about English sounds and spellings? Our Speak and spell section has specially designed songs, stories and games to help.  Or to practise the English alphabet, try our ABC countdown game. Kids will love trying to beat the clock.  Perfect for International Literacy Day on 8 September!
