LearnEnglish Kids newsletter --  things to print!
October 2016

Welcome to the latest LearnEnglish Kids newsletter.

NEW WORKSHEETS!
Have you seen our new worksheets? We've added over ten new worksheets on fun topics to help children practise English, including clothes, weather, holidays, free-time activities and Halloween!

Find all our new worksheets in our Worksheets section.

NEW FLASHCARDS!
Have you ever used flashcards with your children? In our Flashcards section there are more than 40 topics, and we have now added a make-your-own version to all of them.

Print the colour version to introduce new words to your child. Then ask your child to write the words and colour in the make-your-own version. Finally, try playing a matching game for a fun way to remember all the words!

AUTUMN AND HALLOWEEN
Is it autumn where you are? Kids can learn about autumn and the other seasons with our Seasons Reading practice activities, and make a seasonal Autumn decoration.

Our fun printable activities for Halloween include a worksheet, colouring page, flashcards and a skeleton craft. Find these activities and more in our Halloween topic. Happy Halloween!

DIWALI AND WORLD TEACHERS' DAY
What do your children know about Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights? Kids can read our Diwali story to find out more about this celebration which starts on 30 October.

World Teachers' Day is on 5 October, and is the start of the British Council's first ever Teaching for Success online conference for teachers and teacher educators. Register for free now!
