LearnEnglish Kids Newsletter May 2016 Welcome to the latest LearnEnglish Kids newsletter. NEW FLASHCARDS! Flashcards are a great way for children to learn, practise and revise words. Our newest sets, Health, Space and Fairy stories flashcards, have two versions. You can print colour flashcards with words, or you can print a set for children to colour and write the word! For ideas of how to play flashcard games, watch our Card safari video tip and Memory game video tip, or read our Play a flashcard game top tip.    WALK TO SCHOOL WEEK Walk to School Week is 16-20 May in the UK. Children will enjoy learning about road safety with our story and song. Then they can sing another song to find out how to safely cross the road.   Kids can also answer questions about staying safe on the road with our fun Road safety run game.   Have fun walking to school, and stay safe!  HOLIDAY COURSES School holidays are coming soon for lots of children, and many British Council teaching centres around the world offer a variety of fun English holiday courses. Visit our language courses page for more information about courses in your country or select your country from the list on our homepage. COMING SOON! We're very excited that LearnEnglish Kids will have a great new look very soon!  Our pages will be organised better and resources will be easier to find. We will have new sections too, for example a video zone, colouring pages and reading and writing practice.  Watch out for our new look coming soon!
