Wednesday 5 October

The first day of the conference looks at the teacher as a reflective practitioner. There will be talks about action research, effective mentoring strategies and practical advice on how to sustain your professional development to continue evolving as a successful teacher or teacher educator.

Thursday 6 October

Thursday continues the previous day's theme, focusing on some of the tools and resources available to teachers and teacher educators to help with CPD. There will be a focus on continuing professional development frameworks, MOOCs, being a transformer teacher and many more practical talks.

Friday 7 October

Friday's theme is the learner and talks will look specifically at a range of inclusive learning strategies. Multi-lingual approaches, differentiation, learners with specific educational needs, sexual diversity and using technology to improve inclusion in our classrooms are just some of the areas covered.

Saturday 8 October

Saturday's talks look at assessing and managing learning, both for students and for teachers. There will be a strong focus on learning online as well as a look at remote teaching and using a blended approach to continuing professional development.

Sunday 9 October

The final day of the conference looks at integrating ICT and the emergence of 21st century skills, or core skills, in education. There will be talks from prominent experts in the field of digital literacies and a lively discussion panel looking at the benefits of core skills as part of our education systems.

Schedule of talks

With over 65 speakers across 5 days, our schedule of talks for each day will help you to plan what talks you want to watch, where they will be taking place and when they will be happening. All talks will be live online and last between 20 - 30 minutes.
